I doubt I've played more than 300 games but definately over 100. Don't think I've owned 100 games though (couldnt say for sure).

I played WoW for about a year and a half and never needed any other game at the time so I was only spending around £8 a month which worked out pretty well money-wise for me.

I suppose financial situations are a heavy factor in this.
