Well, I'm getting on a boat to Madagascar.
Some guy caught it in the city near where I live. As someone pointed out he had to have friends who would catch it, and they would also have friends and I know at least one person, so I must have it too!
But what really upsets me is I guess all...
Couldn't agree more.
Would you pay $6 an hour for an MMO when it was the first of it's time, way back in 1991, (a dollar back then was worth less wasn't it?) and you'd previously been constrained to pen and paper games?
I know I probably would have, but how often I played it would have to...
I'm kinda shocked Indiana Jones, (Ignoring Crystal Skull. I don't think anyone considers that a part of the series, if I'm honest) or Hitchiker's "Trilogy in Five Parts" didn't make it on that list.
HHGTTG definitely gets my vote.
Learn Tai Chi, learn fencing, write a novel, write a screenplay, buy a rifle, drop out of one college for another, go to uni and move out... All sorts of things.
And I've gone ahead with all of them. Got a university place accepted and I'm on my way when September rolls around.
The only...
The best of Yahtzee implies we can mention stuff other than the reviews, so I'm going to dredge something up from the past. Far and away the best thing he ever did was his Comic, Yahtzee Takes on the World.
Found it on the Fullyramblomatic site a while back...
Although its probably been said, I'd go for the ability to control time every time.
Fast forward, Rewind, Pause. Things like that. This would include the ability to control specific pockets of time, or people's perception of time.
Why did the second monkey fall out the tree?
It was stapled to the first monkey.
Why did the third monkey fall out the tree?
It thought it was a game.
How do you put an elephant in the fridge?
Open the door, put the elephant in, close the door.
How do you put a giraffe in a fridge?
Open...
I can't believe I was beaten to that one...
So seconded.
I'm also surprised "I'll be back," hasn't been said. Although I guess driving a car into someone through a wall wouldn't count as combat in the original sense of the word.
The only worry is, of course, that there's not many escape routes out of anything upstairs. But then, I'm sure your survivors can find a way around that.
Or not, as the case may be ;)
Fill the bath and sink upstairs for water. Lock all the doors and windows, phone people to see if they're aright before the water and electricity go off.
After that get into the loft and punch through the roof tiles. I live in a terraced house, so this would get me access to every house in...
And just around the corner from that there will be the City of Ultimate Wizardry, full of Bungaloes and Skyscrapers of Wizardry.
Alright episode, but only because it reminded me of the time a harsh GM gave us a room like that where one of the spikes was the true switch.
Although we once...
People. Every single person has a story, and there's always a story unfolding right in front of your eyes. It might be every day and average, but it's there.
But also this: http://chir.ag/stuff/sand/
But mainly the people.
And the sand.
