This statement is beyond crazy.
Let's get past the fact that instead of throwing the dice on new IPs, they create new games of existing IPs.
How on earth is Nintendo not innovating? Nintendo is still far and away the most innovative developer in the industry. This isn't even debatable...
Pretty much all that. I love gaming as much as the next guy, but I'm not going to delude myself into believing that most of these games are even remotely "artistic". They're glorified toys. They're as much "art" as playing with a tonka truck in your sandbox.
I just don't see the point of it. People get bent the fuck out of shape when a console "loses" an exclusive, but really, who cares? If Halo went to PS3 or Gears went to Xbox, what are you really losing? Nothing. There's no reason to care.
Pretty much that. Graphics only take a game so far...Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 are still two of the prettiest games I've ever played, and certainly two of the most fun.
I loved it to death when I saw it, and I watched the entire series/movie a few times, but I've deliberately avoided watching it for the past few years because I have a feeling it's something I'll start to get sick of pretty soon.
