    Is Mario done for?

^^ searanox wins this thread! Although I agree with Johnx61 as well.. SMG is a rehash of Sunshine, which is a rehash of M64.. What is a platformer? You jump from place to place, in most cases a 3rd person perspective. You have to get to get from the starting point to the ending...

    Is Mario done for?

Phew, what is up with the Mario-bashing?? The Mario games aren't that bad. They aren't stagnant either, as some are saying.. The whole "random" gravity thing was quite inventive (although the cameraman still should be keelhauled). A lot of people just dislikes it since it's mainstream.. It...

Life lessons you've learned from a video game.

I've derived my theory of household economy from experience made in Sim City 2000 and Utopia..

    Your Steam sale impulse buys

Bioshock and Dark star One.. COuldn't play Bioshock on my current set-up, downloading DS1 now.. I actually saw Dark Star One for the first time on gog.com a while ago.. Kinda feel bad not buying it from there, since I very much respect their business idea, and I would like to support them..

    No credits, No glory?

System shock 2 is my favorite, it had most of the credits in form of horribly killed programmers/whatnots.. I always watch the credits in movies/games, it's fun to know where one have seen that guy before etc. For instance I now know that the voice of Lambert (Splinter Cell) and Prophet...

    your favorite old cartoon...

Hah! Found it! After a long while googling dogs, grizzly, japanese, anime etc. I found it from wiki, searching for fictional bears! The series is called Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin, or Silver Fang, and was atypically popular in Scandinavia.. And, it's on DVD... Must find it...

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver | The timeless classic that destroys all competition

It is? I based my progress out of wikipedias entry, so I'm not very sure.. I had a "half-way through" feeling when it bugged up on me.. Well, one more reason to try to play it again. Even though it is a borderline abusive relationship..

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver | The timeless classic that destroys all competition

Soul Reaver hates me. Tried playing it twice, PS and PC version. Both times my (legit) copies became unplayable.. First time quite early, second time when I just beat *wiki* Melchiah.. I, however, love Soul Reaver.. Hard, beautyfull, challenging, smart and just a liiiittle bit scary..

    Toughest Training Mission In Gaming

I was going to suggest Star Wars: Star Fighter, as it also has a canyon training mission I only barely managed to get through.. Second mission however was even more gruelling, and I never cleared that..

    Toughest Training Mission In Gaming

I had Gold on all driving tests in San-Andreas, except the one where you have to drive a hopelessly over-steered car through San Fierro, and return, in one minute(?) without hitting anything. That was impossible.. Braking/steering= veering off hitting something, unless you more or less stopped...

    your favorite old cartoon...

A bit off topic, but if anyone knows the name of a show I watched as a kid, I would be very happy! Bits and pieces I remember: It is a Japanese-type animation, about a boy who gets a puppy, that is supposed to grow up to be a grizzly-bear hunting/fighting dog. The grandfather of the boy...

    your favorite old cartoon...

Spartacus and the Sun beneath the Earth. (original name of spaceship was Shagma.. Understandable change in english version) It was however in english (I'm not), with subtitles, before I learned to read, so I didn't understand anything. Still thought it was freakin cool! Remember the songs...

    Most embarrassing fear?

Ehhrmm.. How often is this happening to you..? Just sounds like you have some unwholesome extracurriculum activities going on, that's all...

    Most embarrassing fear?

It is not a fear per se, but.. You know those AFV/You Tube videos of people walking into glass doors/walls? That one. I always walk around collumns standing near walls/eachother where there could be "invisible" glass walls. Even places I've walked thousands of times, and I know there is...

    Logic in Gaming

I kinda agree with Dr. Spaceman. After several years as a gamer, I believe one evolves a "gamers intuition", based on experience. One learn to read the clues given, visually or by audio (audially?), more or less without even noticing. If there is a piece of wood laying over a log, we...
