Yes you are permitted to say you like a certain game without being flamed for it. You shouldn't have to explain or justify yourself. As long as you're having fun, then that's all that matters.

I, myself, am "sick" of shooters. It seems my choices in videogames is growing ever-more limited. I understand there's a reason why there are so many - they sell well. So there's likely no chance that this trend will change. I would not be surprised if the PS3 is the last console I purchase.
