OK, best ones by far: The odyssey, like an action RPG. The Animorphs series. I really can't think of a genre. I like this idea better than books into movies because you can fit much more into a game than into a movie, and add extra content too.

Every Baten Kaitos character, awesome game, HORRIBLE voice acting. It even makes me feel less sorry for the character and more angry for good deeds. OO and 3 dog sometimes.
