It was that very fact which made me quit WoW. When I took a step back and looked at the game and it's community I saw just that. It's more trouble that it is actual fun.
*Sigh*
It's horror when you're playing at three in the morning, decide on a whim to go into the Dunwich (sp?) building, and go through it all. Other than that it's really an action RPG. In a perfect world it's both.
I found it unbearably slow and empty. It felt like I was all alone in this vast empty plane with pirates and ore. I also agree with ZP that the leveling system is...odd, original but tiring. The economy is intimidating for new players, you need someone on the inside to help you start playing...
