I saw this last night and I swear it's the reason it's fucking snowing at my house right now. It needs to get canceled so the world is set right again.

I prefer playing with people who are about the same skill level as me, it seems more competitive that way and pushes me to be a better player I think.

One time me and my friend were playing halflife and were really intently watching the screen and a headcrab came out of no where causing us both to scream. Although my most embarassing came pretty recently, I downloaded Super Mario 3 to my Wii and was killed by the first Goomba in the game.

Grim Fandango. Although I don't have a DS so I don't have much of an opinion, I'd just like to see it ported to consoles.

I try to avoid them unless I'm totally stuck on the first play through of a game, although if I do return to a game I'll use them to get most of the secrets.

When AVP was new I got my hands on the demo as the marine, that was pretty damn scary. Silent Hill was pretty creepy, although I don't think I got very far in it even though I have it. System Shock 2 as many people have already mentioned, I only tried last year but damn that game if freaky.
