Cowboy Bebop really is a great first one to go for to get you into anime. Though I got into anime by watching Ghibli movies. The first "real" anime I watched was Pumpkin Scissors, though. It's a great under appreciated series.

The Mirror's Edge part was amazing. It could've been about a dozen episodes, though, if it went more in depth with each one. I just don't want Doomsday Arcade to end, haha.
