    Zero Punctuation: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky

C'mon, I finished Clear Sky on master without too much difficulty. The toughest part was running past the machine gunner at the military base right after leaving the swamps. Probably about 20 reloads there.

    Zero Punctuation: Painkiller

The part that really stands out in my recollection of this game is the orphanage level where you get to blow little demon-children to bits. How did that make it past Jack Thompson?

Zero Punctuation: Grand Theft Auto IV

My main observation is that he actually seems to miss the biggest, crippling flaws in most games, tending to focus more on minor issues which wouldn't bother most people. No major game gets less than a 7/10 these days, so I equate a 7 to shit, an 8 to mediocre, a 9 to decent, and a 10 to good.

    Zero Punctuation: Mailbag Showdown

Indeed. If this is the biggest issue in one's life, a stupid game review, then I think one desperately needs a head-from-ass-ectomy. Collapsing economy, skyrocketing food and energy prices - yawn, right? Perspective.

    Zero Punctuation: Mailbag Showdown

What makes Croshaw any less legitimate than the throngs of ass whores who have been squirting out perfect 10 scores across-the-board for GTA 4?

    Zero Punctuation: Mailbag Showdown

Corporate apologists (those who are not paid for their services) and fanboys are the lowest forms of life on the planet. Pathetic creatures.

    Zero Punctuation: Condemned 2: Bloodshot

You're not the only one. Condemned was one of the most hyper-repetitive and mindless games I've ever played. Assassin's Creed shares the top-spot with it.

Zero Punctuation: Devil May Cry 4

Half Life is debatable. Ultima improved consistently from 1 to 7, and then went off the cliff with 8 and 9. Wizardry for the most part improved with each successive iteration. Was 8 better than CotDS? Tough call. HoMM. The series really went up and down quite a bit, made by different...

Zero Punctuation: Call of Duty 4

This entire game felt like a contest to run to the next trigger point to stop the idiotic spawning. And they always run to the same positions when they take cover. MP, which I played briefly, felt like grenade spam in a 10x10 room.

    Zero Punctuation: The Witcher

QFT^2. Excellent points. The Witcher isn't anywhere near complicated. Oh, I dunno, it took me all of 10 minutes (less, actually) to figure the mechanics out, including alchemy and the journal, without ever looking at the manual. I found The Witcher to have overly simplistic gameplay...

    Zero Punctuation: Crysis

The AI was pretty damn stupid, especially when using cloak - you could basically sit on someone's face without being detected. The physics were also screwed up rather badly - bouncing/jiggling bodies and debris that would often fall through the ground or bounce up into the sky. The first half...

    Zero Punctuation: Silent Hill Origins

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. used weapon degradation decently as well. Guns would jam more frequently as they degraded, but it would take a good thousand rounds before it was time to toss it. SS2's degradation was total overkill however.

    Zero Punctuation: Super Mario Galaxy

On his website he clearly states that his reduced pace and volume were due to him not wanting to wake his roommate, who was sleeping in the next room. True? I don't know, but that's his explanation.

    Zero Punctuation: Super Mario Galaxy

Hearing about a game's faults tells you just as much if not more about how good it really is rather than just hearing about its strong points. Anyway, I hope this is the last Mario review. I think we've covered this ground well enough. Same goes for Zelda.

Gamespot Review of Kane & Lynch Heavily Edited

I wonder if they look back on this mess and say to themselves 'Was it really worth it?' Firing Gerstmann cost them how many subscriptions?
