Poll: How do you like your protaganists in the morning?

I don't care, as long as they don't make wannabe-witty puns after every kill, don't have a "look at me I'm cool" cutscene every couple of minutes, are not enormous dicks the entire game, and have a good voice actor. Also, if they are women they must have ginormous tits. That said, my...

Favourite TYPE of weapon in FPS?

SMG's as long as they "feel" right, like they do in RS3: Vegas. But for the weapons I love the most, the weapons that I'll keep losing even if I'm getting pwn3d, I'd have to go for the Flamethrower. Or anything that shoots fire and leaves a charred corpse.

    How would you improve RPGs?

Perhaps I'm just sheltered American who only sees the games good enough to be translated and sent to America, but I never found myself playing a JRPG and going, "I hate every second of this" like some people seem to be. One of my favorite RPGS of all time is Chrono Cross, because the storyline...

    Zero Punctuation: Super Mario Galaxy

Good review of SMG, but like others said, it sounded like Yahtzee was drunk, bored, or didn't care about this episode. He also slowed wayyy down. Finally, not that I'm an uptight prick, but the gratuitous toilet humor and cursing is distracting, not funny here.

    Morrowind as Life Affirmation

I agree you with Gigantor in that Oblivion made you feel sorta like a blessed child, in that you were able to do anything anything almost perfectly, and everyone treated you like the second coming of Jesus. My problem with Morrowind was in the game's mechanics, which I feel Oblivion really...

    Morrowind as Life Affirmation

I liked Morrowind too, but this nostalgia is almost making me sick >_< Morrowind is also one of the only games that almost forces you to abuse the game system or cheat. Yes, picking a random direction and just walking in it was fun for the first hour, up until you ran across just about any...

    Poll: Too easy..

My problem is that we haven't come any further with difficulties. Normal is the base line, easy is enemies do less damage/have less resources in RTS's, hard they do more or have more. There's nothing inventive about that and drives me incredibly mad when I see a game do it. How about a hard...

What do you look for in an RPG?

Above everything for me, Character customization and evolution. I'm willing to forgive a whole lot in a game if it allows me to: A) Customize the characters looks (weapons, armor, and physical traits if it's non-linear) B) Allows me to choose what my party is made up of, from a diverse...

I do not like Western games at all (please read)

Woah, what's wrong with senseless killing, realism, and rights? You attribute "fun" to Japanese games which sounds to me more like you couldn't think of any other description for it and neglected some awesome Western games that do get that formula right. Oblivion, Fallout, Battle For Middle...
