I wouldn't be so sure. They annouced their DualMail [http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/The_Witcher:_Versus] flash based fighting game last year on April 1st and I got a good laugh out of it, then an even bigger laugh on the next day when it actually turned out to be real.

Valve has done this many times in the past, only with ATI cards. Not too long ago they gave out HL2 Deathmatch and Lost Coast to ATI users. Also, if you look at the video options in TF2 it even has a big ATI Radeon "recommended" logo on it. The Source engine was always optimized for ATI...
