    Is it still worth getting Guild Wars?

    For the price of GW at the moment it's definitely worth buying. You get a great game, good pvp, good guilds if you look into it and it should tide you over untill GW2 (whenever that may be).

    LAN Parties are the most fun you can have in a dark room with other guys ;) I have fond memories of playing UT2k, CS:S, Warcraft 3 and many other games over LAN whilst binging on insane amounts of Crisps and Coke. You just don't get the same vibe by playing Online, which is why newer games...

    Western RPGs for me in first place, Followed by generic JRPG. But I love stuff like The World Ends With You on DS which is kinda genre breaking.
