I haven't played Heavy Rain, so I can't compare the two. But if you liked HR, I don't think you can do anything wrong with Indigo Prophecy. As for the story, it's probably more mystical or paranormal than the one from HR, but I really enjoyed it. Although I think they've overdone themselves...
