I thought Yahtzee would have appreciated that RE6 really doesn't have any more QTEs than RE4 or RE5, and in fact has less because the dodge QTE is now an on-demand function.
That's cool to hear. I've considered trying to make a D&D campaign before but it's too complicated and I pretty much never play D&D.
Good DM or no, most campaign books will have plots like "You are in a tavern and you hear about treasure, go to deathtrap dungeon to get it" then the team does...
I know what you mean, but D&D isn't about one player controlling six characters; it's about six players controlling their own character. Making a game where one player has to manage six different people wouldn't be very D&D-like.
Also, Neverwinter Nights was a pretty faithful D&D game, but then...
Well, I personally didn't like the plots in Neverwinter Nights, but I can appreciate that other people like them.
What's important is that you don't have to have a boring combat system to have a good story. Bringing up Tales of Vesperia again, I found that game to be great for a lot of reasons...
I owned Neverwinter Nights and the two expansions they made that came out on discs. Honestly I just don't see the appeal in left-clicking on an enemy so that your character starts auto-attacking it. You only get to control one character and if you picked a fighter you're going to be doing a...
Because it's a discussion, obviously. I like action RPGs and I think calling an action RPG improper is insulting, suggesting that full control over one character = not an RPG.
Hudurrrr no kidding! Settle down there, Autto, I didn't realize it was illegal for me to voice my personal opinion. I always found Baldur's Gate to be incredibly boring. That doesn't mean I thought it was bad or that other people shouldn't play it if they like it.
Well my favorite RPG is Demon's Souls specifically because of the combat system. My second favorite RPG is Tales of Vesperia because the combat system is real-time and team-based, and the storyline is really good.
I don't see what can be done with D&D as a video game. The whole board game...
Well, Oblivion was really terrible, but surely a sequel made by the same people wouldn't be as bad- OH NO FALLOUT NEW VEGAS
The Elder Scrolls need to have co-op and/or a party system of some sort to make me like them
STOP BRINGING UP MASS EFFECT 2 IN CONVERSATIONS WITH PEOPLE
PS3 users won't get any of the continuity if they don't also get mass effect 1
although mass effect 1 sucked
only an idiot would be mad about a video game being on more than one console
