I have my doubts that it is a HD remake... If it was a HD remake surely it would be Baldur's Gate HD or something with HD in the title? I'unno... personally, from the HTML I found I think its a little more.

To be fair, they have been working on this for the past 2-3 years, apparently brotherhood and revelation were just time fillers. I mean, I doubt they could've created a whole new engine for the game since the release of Revelations...
