I would definitely agree about picking them off at range, but as the motto goes 'be prepared'
and you would probably be surprised with the amount of blood that happens when an appendage gets severed. it is less than you think.
Primary: M14. the rifle gives range, the 7.62 gives stopping power, and the stock gives a nice emergency backup melee.
Secondary: M1911A1 Custom , with a dual stacked mag. .45 has plenty of stopping power, and the dual stacked mag adds endurance to it.
