    Naming the new month

Just thought of another month made up and used on TV. It was in Chris Morris' Jam and on the 'Blue Jam' CD: Martober Can't remember the context/sketch

Google Android isn't really that open, says Steve Jobs

I've got an ipod touch and a HTC Desire - I use PCs, I've used Macs. They all do the same stuff realistically, on a basic level for a phone I need texts and phone functionality, the rest is just for fun. I have an o2 locked phone, I feel no need to "root" the android thing as I can take...

What brought you to the Escapist?

I stumbled on it today at work and it seems so far to be a consistently pleasant forum. Kinda kept me from working for a while...

Army Of Two: 40th Day - finally gave it a go

I think I just expect too much, they rarely felt like they made any practical difference to the game/story. I went through trying to make the right moral choice and some of the results were rough (my mate kept leaving the decisions to me then calling me an arse for the outcome..) After playing...

That's a good point about the heavies, had a case of "oh look another big guy" as opposed to "aaaaaagh!!". I want a third game but don't know if 40th day sold as well as first game. Time will tell I suppose!

Army Of Two: 40th Day - finally gave it a go

Me and a friend had an awesome time playing the first game, pimping weapons needlessly and shouting "BACK TO BACK!" every now and then. It's taken a while but I went down to visit and purchased the sequel and am kinda disappointed. I like the morality moments but there doesn't seem to be any...

    Did you see Scott Pilgrim?

I saw it at the cinema, then bought the comic books - liked them both for different reasons, normally changes made rile me but I thought the film was a good adaptation. Will probably get it on DVD as I'm sure I'll view it differently a second time. As an aside, this year has been really poor...

    The Best book you OWN

I don't have a specific edition of a book that's special to me, but one of my all time favourite books is Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut. I generally love most of Vonneguts books, but this is my favourite until I re-read another one... The edition I have is this one: # Paperback: 192 pages...
