I have already watched Spice and Wolf, both seasons of it. I didn't place it on my list because I didn't enjoy as much as I did others.

I've deliberated and looked up all the recommendations on here, and have come up with a list of what I will be willing to watch.These include: Jin Roh, RahXephon,Shiki,Fate/Zero,Kara no Kyoukai,Mushishi,Planetes,Paranoia Agent Thanks for the Help. I look forward to watching these.

Watched the first season that has been aired. It was meh to me, but I'll still probably watch the second season in contrast with what is out right now at least.

I was debating watching Shiki last night, and seeing it mentioned on this post fortifies my curiosity to watch it.

It's not about me wading through the shit. It's about me asking other people what gems they have found in a particular genre. The way I see things is, why watch something you don't like. I'd rather spend a bit of time in a forum specifically looking for something promising than randomly looking...

My list is things I enjoyed not specifically the genre's I enjoy the most. The reason I placed the list with those anime in particular is to show exactly what I like without being limited to those genre. I'm sure you can pick off from the titles mentioned that most of them involve decent story...

Completed SEL, currently watching Barakamon, completed Samurai 7, will see what the other 3 are about.

Watched Railgun and it's sequels, still prefer index than railgun. Honestly I'm watching just to catch a glimpse of Accelerator. He's my Hero in both series.

Will eventually watch Mushishi, have already watched Steins Gate.

The thing about Cowboy bebop that I couldn't bring myself to enjoy is the Space cowboy ordeal they have going on. I just don't find that mix appealing. It's one of the reasons I don't watch Space Dandy either.
