It's not a gimmick. It works and will just improve and slowly spread. Like herpes. There are better games and "more practical uses" on the way for sure.

I sure hope this potential is exploited, the limitations of this game are apparent even in the teaser videos. Still, i'm in!

My gawd, wait till you try E:D in the consumer Rift or HTC Vive. As a VR experience, for a certain audience its as good as it gets, without a doubt the most immersive thing since immersive things were possible... I still find myself saying "Jesus!" or "Holy shit!" a year later. I cannot...
