i have to disagree. The fact that they are leaving MK's plot behind is a good thing.

With both my parents as teachers, i understand how frustrating kids these days can be. They constantly are rudely interrupted with rude and annoying comments, and i personally think that kids who are that disrupted do not deserve to be in a learning environment. It doesn't help my opinion that...

No, it has nothing to do with that. The parents left a loaded gun on the table, safety off, within the reach of a three year old. Guns don't kill people, people use guns to kill YOU!
