There's a bit of endgame content in the Invention Enhancements now and the Rikti Invasion and the Task Forces and completing all the arcs you missed on your way up with the Ouroboros. I do agree that it could be seen as a bit lacking when compared to WoW, but there are SO MANY medieval era...
