System Shock 2 with headphones alone in the middle of the night. Every time you were in a room and heard one of the freaky zombies with worms attached to their heads you litteraly had a heartattack and had to change your pants.

Scissorman from Clock Tower First Fear and Clock Tower for the PSX. Talk about panic when you'r a frail little girl who can only run from a disfigured little boy with big bad ass scissors in a lonely big mansion in the middle of the night while tripping over you'r dead friends. That is horror!
