Uncle Max entered one of the bedrooms. Glancing about, he quickly spotted the dirty tunic he had dropped on the floor the day before the family had left. He had intended to get it washed, but even in its dirty state it was cleaner than the rags he was wearing now.
Closing the bedroom door...
Uncle Max took the bottle, uncorked it, and sniffed the pungent liquor. The fumes immediately brought tears to his eyes, and he wasted no time in putting the stopper back in its place.
"Yes. Borr, Baturo, you're right. We should head back to the house, if for no other reason than to change...
"Eeh ... ow, my head ... and my back ... and my ... ow..." groaned Max as he came out of his stun-stick-induced stupor.
Noticing the guard, he continued, "Looks like you two have been a bit busy ..."
Uncle Max had lost track of time down in the dank sewers of Oharo. Although they had found what had appeared to be a secure alcove, the damp, musty air soon aggravated the old man's throat. The resulting coughing fit had sent the little family on the run once again.
Already, Uncle Max could...
Emurlahn, what if you were to age your character by about 10 years or so? That could put him in place of the dad.
That way, we won't have a family as ridiculous as an ancient uncle, three kids, and a talking cat :)
Ok, I do like my idea for the uncle, so I think I'll stick with that.
As to his personality, he sometimes seems to live too much in the past. He prefers the "old ways" of doing things, and will act a bit miffed when people mention using "new-fangled" equipment like hoes or plows in their...
Now, I'm not sure whether or not you wanted both a father and mother for this family, but I don't want to usurp Gypsy's spot, and am not really comfortable taking the mother position. I had in mind sort of an old crotchety uncle or great-uncle. If you do want to have a mother figure in the...
What you fail to realize is that it is not MW 3, but rather CoD 8! (And that's if you don't count the console exclusive CoD Finest Hour and CoD2 Big Red One, or any of the hand-held editions).
Combine this with the fact that the average wait time for TES games is on the order of several...
Personally, I do a lot of reading. Some book series I'd recommend would be (these are mostly Star Wars) Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy (Beginning with Heir to the Empire), as well as his Hand of Thrawn Duology and Outbound Flight. Also Drew Karpyshyn's Darth Bane trilogy. There's a lot of Star...
"And Then There Were None" was the title of an Agatha Christie murder mystery, in which a set of characters were taken out to an island by a mysterious host. Upon their arrival, the guests started dying off one by one. When the investigators finally arrived, they found everyone dead.
How about MacGregor? (CoD2) I can't recall if he died or not. It might not count, considering the fact that he was surrounded by Brits, possibly breaking condition 5.
I'm definitely going to agree with those saying LotRO. At the beginning, it catered mostly to the mature folks who had actually read the books, so the community was quite nice.
Even when they moved to free to play, many of the elder players were planning on camping out in the beginner zones...
