Maybe you should expand your musical horizons. Music is far from dead. Try classical? If you don't like Bach, Mozart and Beethoven what about stravinsky, xenakis, Alban Berg, Arnold Scoenberg, Danielpour? Or what about Jazz? Ornette Colman, Dave Brubeck, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane...
