Wow, for once we're in agreement on something. Shoot, even if I DIDN'T think women were getting hosed over on that, I'd still give them a break in the interest of public sanitation.
I HAVE seen it. She worked out force pull, the mind trick, and how to rip info out of someone's head in a matter of hours. The heck is she gonna learn at this point? With how easily all this comes to her, Episode 8 might as well start a week after episode 7 ended with Luke telling her there's...
So, given everything she can do already, what exactly can she grow into? Is episode 8 gonna have her using the force to throw a moon on Darth Linkin Park? Will Episode 9 end with her blowing up the sun of the system Snoke is in with her mind and declaring herself the God Empress of Mankind...
Somehow, I can't help bu think The fact that little boys might not want to play with a girl action figure never even crossed their minds. Have any of these people ever interacted with a child? Do they remember what it's like to be a child? It's mostly young boys who want the action figures, and...
Really? I'd say it shows that female supers are smarter than male counterparts. Not only do super powered individuals tend to be more attractive on average, but on the off chance a villain figures out their secret identity they'll be able to protect themselves from said villain more easily.
Wouldn't be hard to make him sympathetic either. He's a brilliant and ambitious dude who is forced to kneel to an idiot who's only in his position because his father had it last. It's a situation we've ALL been in.
To be honestk, I rather doubt it.
She's honestly not that attractive to me to be quite frank. Callie Fisher and Natalie Portman had a LOT more going on in my book.
Doesn't help that Rey has barely more facial expression than Bella Swan. Seriously, the most variety I got from my Google...
Luke Skywalker? The guy who, in the first movie, had to be bailed out of a Sand Person attack and bar fight by Obi Wan, had to be saved from Darth Vader by Han Solo, and who's most impressive acts were blocking a droid's shots with Ibi Wan's guidance and making a shot that anyone in the...
That's just it. You can't. You can have her have the most sympathetic and tear jerking origin story ever, it's still going to be attached to a character who attempted to have 101 puppies killed for the sake of something as petty as fashion. Seriously, there is NO redeeming or making that...
Actually, I found it to be quite brilliant. Obi Wan's whole style revolves around defense and counter attacks, while Grevious is pretty much pure offense. Obi was literally the best Jedi for the job.
See, it was that bit that made me think Poe was supposed to stick around more in the first half of the movie, particularly with the Falcon. Finn takes gunner, Poe flies, and Rey co-pilots and fixes things. Boom. All three characters, all in roles we know they're theoretically capable of doing...
My only complaint with Episode 7's handling of lightsaber combat is that it basically casualized it. Used to be only three types of people could use lightsabers in a fight and not risk killing themselves. Jedi, Sith, and Supreme Badasses. Now any chump or greenhorn can use em and stand their...
