Doctor Who Series 7.9: Cold War

I thought that too RE Dalek. I felt they managed to do the same thing too: make a silly looking villain feel scary. There was a big debt to 'Alien' too, with the readouts reflecting on the warrior's helmet near the end and the rarely seen but for glimpses true form of the warrior.

Zero Punctuation: Spec Ops: The Line

And he didn't even mention the fact Nolan North was voicing Walker... must've been a really immersive story for him to overlook that =P

    Dragon's Dogma Review

As in what happens AFTER that. Does the game rest to your last save, your last checkpoint, does it go back to the title screen...

    Dragon's Dogma Review

I have another question, what's the death cycle like? As in, when you die where do you reset? I'd also like to know how long the game is roughly =)

    Dragon's Dogma Review

Thanks for the thorough review =) Could I ask about your resetting quests comments? No spoilers please for the plot, but what happens when you complete the main quest? Do you get thrown back into the world with the ability to replay quests with your stuff intact? Or is it more like you start...

Big Studios Can't Produce Good Horror Games

Ooh, I am Alive! I'm keen to hear your thoughts Yahtzee. While I enjoyed it immensely, I'm not sure how you'd find it, I got the feeling it might fall into the "Alone in the Dark" realm of games which have stuff you think is great, but executed poorly.

    Death Mechanics and Dark Souls

Wait...Yahtzee... what? I thought one of your major beefs with the Mario series was its blind adherence to the lives system and now you're saying you like that? I am confused... EDIT: HA HA DISREGARD THAT DIDN'T READ THE ENTIRE ARTICLE BEFORE POSTING T__T'

    Questions you hate being asked

To be fair, the Great Britain/ UK one is a sticky one. I only learned the difference recently and I live here...

    Questions you hate being asked

When people try on my glasses (which I don't mind) they always ask if they see how I see without glasses when wearing mine (which I do). No. That is just plain not how glasses work. For further proof, I have tried them on while weaing contacts and it's definitely not the same. Also when I was...

Saints Row 3 Dildo Smoothed Out in Japan

So they now have an erect dildo instead of a flaccid one... Isn't that... worse?

    Good Intelligent Games

PC games "The Void" and "Pathologic" are both intelligent games, but they depend on your tolerance for unfair difficulty (I don't mean that in the "it's hard so that's not fair" sense, as in "You are going to die in 5 levels for not knowing fundamental rules about this world which we did not...

    Annoying stereotypes about my sexuality.

Well, I'm assuming, like me, you're heterosexual, so to us there doesn't seem a big difference, but I've noticed a lot of people who aren't take gender, sex and sexuality very seriously and see it as a much wider spectrum. As far as (I'm making huge assumption so apologies) you or I are...

Extra Punctuation: The Sandbox Killed Batman

I actually really liked the gliding. Also to all the people recommending Evil Genius, I'm 99% sure Yahtzee said he's sick of people recommending it to him or something. It might have been in one of the Overlord reviews. Also I think yahtzee's giving the villains too much cred. I mean what...

Older games that aged well. (strictly talking about graphics)

Any and all of the Rogue Squadrons. Project Zero II (bought it for xbox recently and was surprised how good it looks. Resident Evil 4 and REmake hold up well, in fact REmake perhaps more so. Smash Bros Melee.
