    BECAUSE THE ALIENS ARE MESSING WITH OUR HEADS, MAN! Anyway, I would pin the blame on the fact that the human mind loves making ways for stuff to happen. Sadly, the human mind does not always like making LOGICAL ways for stuff to happen.
