Yep, pretty sure that they'd work. They probably didn't have an English language option I'm guessing. There's no region encoding on PC games. First person to prove me wrong wins half a pint of chocolate milk.

You should be able to play UK 360 games on an Australian 360 and vice-versa as both systems are PAL format. This is true of all consoles in the UK and Australia. PC games are fine too as there's no region encoding on the PC for games.
