If you don't want to be invaded but still want to see/leave/rate messages, you could just play through areas while you're dead so you can't be attacked. I would also suggest putting on a full helmet to cover your shrunken face.

A fun way to be overpowered is to play a mage with master Enchanting/Destruction. Make yourself 4 items that reduce the cost of Destruction spells by 25%, and BOOM.....free Destruction spells. Have fun....
