The only thing that I'm seeing in our database that might help would be to clear out the cache on your HDD. And sorry I've never heard of a person having this type of problem, and there is very little info on it in our system, so if that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you.
Ok, the intercollers will void you warranty if it comes between the Xbox power supply and the console. As long as you get one that does not use the Xbox ac adapter then you will be just fine!
Yes you console is over heated, you might want to put it in a place where it can get good air flow to the fans or get a cooler system to vent it better. Also if you get the error you need to let the system sit of several hours and completely cool before you use it again.

I can say as a person who does a lot around MSFT I can say that no, it will not be going free!!! It costs too much money to host and maintain for them to have it free of over 17 million people.

Yes there is a way, you have to install Win7 on a different drive/ partition. After that any time you boot up, it will ask you what OS you want to use. And no you cannot remove it with out formatting the drive.
