Personally I'd prefer GTA IV to have allowed me to choose my gender, but at the same time, if all games did this we wouldn't have icons like Mario, Lara Croft, Niko Bellic, etc. Even the name Super Mario Bros. would have to be Super Mario/Maria Brothers/Sisters. This shows in the Saints Row...
