I love any visually stimulating medium be it films, games or art.
I find books to be boring and tedious wastes of video game playing [or film watching] time because of how long they take to convey a story. This doesn't mean I think I'm right and anyone who loves reading is a complete loser...
The back story? Have you played Warcraft games? [Specifically Warcraft 3] because the story is developed there and I really enjoy it but I've noticed it's badly presented in WoW.
I'm doing pretty well considering I should have done my uni work and I haven't started; meaning I should be having some sort of epiphany/realisation, but I haven't.... Good thing I have whisky :)

And personally I think this show might be worth staying with... But I love DnD and I have a keen interest in trying to work out what version they're playing. [Hopefully next week's encounter with...
For me:
Braid's 'speed run' achievement, the whole game in ~30 mins [I think]. I tried it and had to rewind time ONCE and finished it in just over 30 mins. That was the closest I got.
Collecting achievements/COD veteran has got nothing on this!
