It's not selfish to stop someone if you are the person that has to clean up afterwards. That at least is certain.

I'm Dutch and my people where the biggest slave traders and you don't hear me whine about it. It's just something that happened then and will hopefully never happen again. That's why they teach us history, to learn from the mistakes of the past.
