bad graphics are much more unrealistic graphics than the current norm, and by unrealistic i don't mean purpously done graphics, or stylized graphics, like tf 2. i mean pixelated games and games where you don't understand what a thing is, hard to explain tho :D

agreed, valve is awesome because their attitude is not getting a lot of money fast by making a bad game really fast (i'm not talking about halo or anything in particular), instead they take their time and when their game comes out it just is fucking awesome.
