Excellent article, with points that need to be made over and over and over. I do, however, think that reboots _could_ be a good thing. The whole notion of comics being unapproachable to new folk is one good example as to why. And a compelling universe with mileage of exploration left in it...

1) Um, yeah. If you could tone the smug down just a little, that would be fantastic. 2) Was this episode considered more a teaser? It told FF fans things they'd known for years, but then you just hit a list of things that were dabbling in the genuinely interesting/new as potential future...

I normally enjoy Bob's analysis, but I don't want to spoil anything with this movie, so I guess I can only watch this one after I see it? At which point, it's not a review.... it's more like.... a post-watch discussion? Which is cool, that can be enjoyable. But could we get a spoiler-free review?

While the sound wasn't perfect.... live stuff in a hall like that is tricky business, and at least it was something you could adjust to. I went in expecting to watch maybe fifteen minutes, and ended up staying for the whole ride. Much better questions and answers than you typically get at...

Yahtzee's was absolutely brilliant - what an artful way to make the imagery of war and war-game clash. I stopped watching by the time Jim mentioned slashing tendons. When Jim is good, he's great. I'm tired of the gross-out stuff, though.

Amen on the vid. Can someone clue me in on why he uses the picture of the shrimp (and now lobsters?) often? I feel like I'm missing something super obvious, and it drives me nuts every week!
