And you could upgrade them fairly easily. Besides that I've always had a backpack full of materials in order to craft stuff. :)

Grandia II. Found this game in a bing for a couple of euros. Money well spent. Simply beautiful music and a tear jerking story. Sniff, I'll miss you Mareg!
