Paying a subscription for online multiplayer with the only real addition being one month rentals of 20-30 year old games is just a baffling decision. If this is price similarly to xbox live and ps plus then is a right slap in the face and a display of arrogance that Nintendo can ill afford...
All Nintendo had to to do was stick landing after the initial reveal. I was really into the idea of the Switch but the price of the console, games, peripherals and now a subscription service that offers none of the value proposition of its competitors my enthusiasm has nose dived.
I don't mind them in theory but most tend to be very cringey. For every Witcher 2/3 scene there are dozens of hilariously bad scenes like Wolfenstein: TNO or even worse, Heavy Rain.
If you are going to use sex scenes it least put the effort into making somewhat fitting, and for love love all...
1. Witcher 3: Blood and Wine
I think this year in gaming I've been suffering from post Witcher 3 blues, that is to say nearly every game I've played since finishing The Witcher 3 has failed to grab me in the same way. So chance to return to that world was a welcome one.
2. DOOM...
Bloody hell. 2016 is going down and is determined to take as many with it as it can.
Let us hope that 2016 ends up being The Empire Strikes Back to 2017's Return of The Jedi rather than Attack of The Clones from Phantom Menace.
Took a few episodes to get going but it is starting to feel like old Top Gear. The only negative for me so far the in studio stuff seems too scripted and stilted that it doesn't flow very well.
Does that include cornettos too? Asking for a friend.
This the shittest timeline of the shittest universe. On bright the side if there are alternative universes there is likely a universe where Brexit never happened, Bernie Sanders won a landslide election, where tobelrones remain as God intended and Prince and David Bowie just released a...
Nintendo seemed to have nailed the initial pitch on this one. Colour me very interested. If the price is reasonable and the battery life is decent then I'd have qualms buying into the Switch.
And for once it looks like a release console is actually aesthetically pleasing. Really like the...
Nice. Be great to use the PS4 controller without any third party software in between. Now if more devs would offer the option to choose which controller prompts you could use in game that would be great.
Could not put it any better. This female protagonist equals feminist pandering and pc gone mad bollocks is beyond parody and just gets more sad and pathetic as it goes on.
A pixar animated style thing. A group of cute robots band together to escape Glados and Aperture Labs.
I don't think anything live action in the Portal setting would really work.
Guy in the top right of last panel just looks so exasperated with the whole being a guard thing.
"Could have stayed in my hometown. Could have got a job in the item shop on the corner street. But no I needed to see the world, have adventure and now I'm getting ferried around by flaming...
I liked Wasteland 2, I hear Torment: Tides of Numenera is shaping up nicely. Bring it on. Now if only I could somehow have more time to actually play all these rpgs...
I'm not sure how different kickstarter and fig are when it comes taxes and associated fees to comment on that side...
Only vaguely remember the cartoon The Tick. The pilot was decent and Peter Serafinowicz was good in the role. Costume looked a bit naff but seems like that is part of the charm. So yeah I'm on board for a full season to see what they do.
