It's odd, my understanding of the reviews have been quite favourable. It's not like Kane and Lynch 2 where it's either bad or you despise it. This game has highly favourable reviews, and most of the score deductions are purely technical. I've yet to play it, but what excites me about it is...

I was amazed he didn't make fun of the bit where after you get killed, you just end up locked in some random closet until your teammates rescued you. Bassically, the second before the zombies kill you, they seem to somehow carry you forward and lock you in a closet and give you a medkit.
