It might just be that nobody I know listens to Ska, but I haven't met anybody else who listens to the following.

I am quite surprised that nobody has said this, but Alex from A Clockwork Orange. The book, not the movie, though. The last chapter improves the character a boatload.
In my high school there is a history elective called "Understanding the 60s" and as the name would imply, Vietnam is covered a lot in it. There is no attempt to sugar coat it and make it seem like the US was right in getting involved.

Now that I think about it, everything that I would have said is actually in neighbouring towns. The people (at least in my age group) are mostly awful as well. So... nothing.
