I personally enjoyed this game but it really depends on if you squeeze out every drop of entertainment out of a game or just go through once and done! , If you want everything out of it , its defiantly worth it , but if you are going to play without trying to get the most out of it , its not...

Very nice review, Ive finished the game, but I'm not that keen on the plot , it sorta lets go of its self at the end.

Its a nice idea but I was thinking more of the characters have a art style to them selfs and it seams natural to them , like different races of people are natural to us.

Well wouldn't they all stand out in their own way? Say the Tree friends would be more colorful Batman style , larger characters , bigger proportions Monsters, Weird looking , kinda creepy in the way you don't want to look but you cant keep your eyes off them.
