I think it has potential, it's just not at its fullest quite yet. As for the overuse of the word radical, I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to be speaking like the ultimate badasses or anything. Especially the programmer dog, he doesn't seem like the kind of dog that would use a very "hip"...
