Gearbox Tackles a New IP With the Character-Driven Battleborn

I'm getting a bit of a TF2 man vs. machine vibe from this. That combined with a gorgeous art style and borderlands/MOBA mechanics? Stop it, my nipples are getting hard.

Google tries to trademark the word "glass"

This is really shitty on Google's part (shame on you), but it's becoming alarmingly common across all companies. Facebook trying to trademark "book" and "wall", Amazon and Apples ***** fit over trademarking "app store", and then King trademarking "candy". This has probably been said a...

    Shuffle your ipod!

OK, so with the first shuffle Then, Got two of my favorite bands in the first two shuffles. Next 3 shuffles included Bliss by MUSE, Na Na Na by My Chemical Romance, and Language by Porter Robinson, which about sums up my library; Mellow alternative and rock, with some electronic tossed in.

Does anyone even buy games full price on steam?

I bought Bioshock Infinite for full price on release day for Steam, and I don't regret it one bit. Irrational crafted something really special there, which is rare in AAA gaming these days. I have no qualms supporting a developer keeping that creative spark alive. Outside of some indie games...

Greatest Voicework in a Game, EVER!

Whew, lets see, other than the already mentioned Wheatly..... Troy Baker and Courtnee Draper in Bioshock Infinite, the sheer amount of emotion conveyed through their voices is stunning. Then, Dameon Clarke as Handsome Jack in Borderlands 2. I don't know how he did it, but his voice just drips...

CT Senator: Games a Factor in Sandy Hook Shootings

Yep, violent video games create mass murderers, just like violent movies caused murderers in the late 1900's, and rock and roll caused satanism in the 60's. People love finding something to blame on society's problems, and video games just got the short end of the stick this decade.

Titanfall Team Decides Against Single-Player Campaign

When I saw the e3 trailer, I honestly thought that I was watching footage of a single player mission, given you start out in an airship then drop in to an NPC "directing" forces. It looks like they're going for a multiplayer/singleplayer fusion to give context to the firefights. Given that most...

Poll: Have the changes to the Xbox One changed your buying plans?

Nope, still not going to buy one. Wasn't planning on it in the first place, due to my recent induction to the glorious PC gaming master race, but this didn't change much. It still bugs me that they tried this whole DRM bunk in the first place though.

Poll: Which one to buy? 3DS or 3DS XL?

The 3ds XL, definitely. I recently upgraded myself, and it's in every way better than the original. You can play DS games in their native 1:1 resolution, and 3ds games look amazing due to seeing part of the screen in your peripheral, making it more immersive. Plus, the original 3ds has that...

Say something nice about EA if you can

Dragon Age:Origins was my favorite RPG in the last decade, but then again, I can thank BioWare for that. Well.. I guess I like the fact that they publish relatively unknown games like Mirrors Edge and Kingdoms of Amalur, who otherwise wouldn't get out of developer hell. The turning of...

    Guild Wars 2 initial impressions

From the 3 hours i'v played, this game is great. On a good computer, GW2 is drop-dead gorgeous. There is an enormous amount of environmental detail, and all of it makes you just want to run around and rub your eyeballs on stuff. That sounds a bit silly, but most other mmo's don't really...

Poll: Dubstep. Music or not music?

Let me show you something Mr.Grant Hobba. This is derezzed, a electronic song by Daft Punk. It was featured in the movie Tron Legacy. I believe Vault101 linked derezzed earlier in the thread, but here it is again. And according to this quote by you... "For example, in Rusko's song...

Bethesda Announces The Elder Scrolls Online

I don't like this. The whole reason I like Elder Scrolls is that it's my own personal fantasy bubble where I can completely immerse myself. The last thing that needs is GIMME MONEIZ 2K GOLD PLEEEEEZ NOOOOOOOB1!!!11!!11 Not opposed to co-op with like 2 people in Skyirm though.
