Hah! Why do you think I only have like 200 posts on here? It's like wading through sewage.
Also, I agree that ZP isn't great anymore; Yahtzee seems to have slipped into full-on "Get off my lawn" mode. He's still occasionally funny, but I feel like he's a lot less willing to try and...
Aaaaand 5 bucks a month to Jim from me. One less reason to renew my Pub Club membership. Jim has actually personally been a dick to me on twitter and I STILL like the guy enough to support him. Nice to see him sticking to his principles.
I want a painfully realistic non-magic medieval RPG where 9 times out of 10 your character does something to get him/her accused of witchcraft and gets burned alive.
The other 1 time they die from dysentery.
Ok, once again I didn't say the console was going to require an always-on connection, I said they freely admitted that they were leaving that decision up to the publishers.
And to me, it doesn't look like they're really focusing on games, and that's my issue. They seem to want to make games...
I'm not. The system won't require it, but Publishers can opt to. Which is what I said, because it's what they said.
Besides, requiring a connection to install and launch the games essentially screws customers nearly as much as requiring a constant connection. I have a friend who's job...
I own a PS3, a 360, and a medium-end laptop for gaming. I think of myself as pretty even-handed when it comes to games; I don't get into the "MUST SUPPORT X CONSOLE/ MUST DESTROY Y CONSOLE" thing. But I really, really want this damned thing to crash and burn, hard. This isn't due to any...
I'll give it a year or so. I'm never an early adopter of game consoles because they purposefully try to squeeze early consumers to recoup losses on hardware. Once the smoke clears, I'll get it if it's proved itself to be a reliable console with good games and a good UI.
Pot is not chemically addictive. At all. I suspect your uncle had a dealer that pushed harder stuff on him (one of the arguments for legalizing it) or hung out with other hard drug users. I (and many, many other people) frequently smoked pot for a long time and never touched any harder stuff. I...
No, but personally I'm extremely pro-legalization. I used to smoke a lot of pot, and the only reason I don't anymore is because of the risk of drug screening at my job. Frankly, I find that ridiculous, as what I do on my own time is my business.
From personal experience, pot has been a very...
Uh huh. Yahtzee is not "racist" against white people for pointing out that white people have historically not been kind to anyone with more pigmentation, and therefore games in which high-tech super-powered white people are slaughtering hordes of jabbering brown people armed with rocks and...
So in other words, you don't like Zero Punctuation anymore. *shrug* I think the majority of us feel it's still quite good. Not to mention that The Escapist has lots of other videos and columns available. ZP is not the only think keeping The Escapist viable, even if you personally might not think so.
I'm really getting sick of these.
We get it, Andy, you're confused and amused by the idea that anyone would play these.
Yeah, I don't get the appeal either, but you're kind of being a dick about it at this point.
