I'm sorry Bob. Love your show and yes. Pure objectivity doesn't exist, but there is a huge difference between Subjectivity and attempted objectivity. You can not state your point of view in criticism or journalism without putting forth your point of view put that is a lazy excuse for not trying...
In a Duel? Definitely the rapier. the reach and the speed is unequaled and the katana would (literally) not come close. In a battlefield situation with multiple opponents and armour the katana has the advantage due to the slashing ability and pure strength of the hit. short version one on one...
I get your point but feel a little misunderstood. My point is not to say that I don't believe you can't marvel at the wonders of the universe if you are an atheist or a skeptic but that so few do. When faced with the hypothetical question if something could be divine most on this site replies...
That was exactly what I didn't say. But when I look at a lot of the replies in this discussion that is actually what is said. The in ability to even just in a hypothetical question to say that anything is marvellous and wonderful enough to be divine I think is sad beyond measure. This is not me...
This discussion reminds me of an Albert Einstein quote:
?There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.?
It is a shame that the prevalence of atheism and scepticism seems to completely remove most peoples...
I couldn't say the exact number since the games didn't clock your hours back then but I played Heroes of might and magic 3 in almost every free hour for 5 years. I would guess at somewhere around 5000+ hours
They are human too. Police officers and military personnel have their own jargon and humor. It might seem rude or outright inhumane but it is just their way of coping. As long as it doesn't affect their action on the clock just bear with them. They feel isolated enough from regular folks as it is.
That really depend upon country. Most countries in Europe will pass lawfull judgement on your ass if you fail to help someone who you could have helped. At least as long as it doesn't put your life in danger.
Start walking. See how far I could get. Probably do a shitload of crazy stuff because there would be no one to mourn me if I died. Climb every tall place I could find. Try to copy every crazy thing I remember from movies and television. And of course... learn to play as many instruments I could...
And he probably is, but we don't feel in our right enviroment. I have been working with children for four years so it is not that we can't do it, but it really doen't come natural
I feel that it is a bad thing. We can't have children. We suck at taking care of children. We are not cleverer nor stupider) In the family we have so little to give but courage and strength and today we seem to fail at those as well. I am sorry but in the name of equality I refuse to just be an...
No I don't mind playing a female protagonist (loved The Longest Journey) but I don't relate to them. If I am in a RPG or MMO I create male character (mostly ones that are like me) because I can relate to them.
I prefer the spoiler alerts. It allows me to watch a movie, play a game, read a book or watch a play the way it's creator intended it. I am one of the lucky ones that didn't know anything about Star Wars or the matrix before I saw them (I really mean I knew nothing about them). I don't think I...
