I'm quite fond of New Zealand myself. I have relatives there, and I love the accent (and yes I can distinguish it from the Australian accent). I went there when I was alot younger and it's a beautiful country.

Hm, something similar happened to someone I know they ended up having to send it in for repair. Annoying, I know, but the sooner you send it in the sooner you'll get it back. Not that I'm saying you should resort to it immediately. Just remember that it's an option. Good luck!

Meh...I've felt ambivalent about the Halo series from the very beginning. Just found them a bit boring and average. Just my opinion, of course, but I wouldn't say I "hate" them. I find the hype and stuff surrounding it really annoying, but I mostly ignore it.

Personally, I see it as a contemptible thing to do. I think people do it because it can be just as hard to tell someone that you're breaking up with them as it is to ask then out in the first place.

No they're not =P. I can kinda see why a non-English speaker (or at least someone who doesn't speak English as their first language) could confuse them, but to me there is a big difference.

Can you describe it? Do you know which general area of the country it comes from? -EDIT- In fact, when you say "British", do you in fact mean "English", or could this accent be from Ireland, Scotland or Northern Ireland too?
