I'm just going to go ahead and say a big "thank-you" for that post. Honestly, that should just be my standard copy/paste to people incapable of liking anything not metal, and not made before 1980.
Braid's great. I'm Afraid of Everything lives on to be one of the best songs I've ever heard, but Valentine by CFD is just absolutely beautiful. That EP they released with Boy's Life was amazing.
But another thing to take in account are the massive amount of classic-style emo bands coming...
There are no classic-emo haters, because not a lot of people know about it. Ten bucks to the first person who can say they actually know who Christie Front Drive is.
Nonetheless, emo is a completely changed genre, but I still enjoy it.
