Exactly, I WANT to like it but I just can't play it because it just wasn't fun. And it's too bad because everything is a great concept on it's own but it just doesn't come together like it should.

Have to agree with this, I like the game and want to finish it but it's just not fun to play for more then 30 minutes to an hour at a time.

OH, i didn't know that, every other game mentions DRM in the license agreement if it's present but I guess EA is just weird that way. I already knew it was going to be there though because they made it a huge deal so it's already known that DRM is there and the user can decide if he wants it or not.
