Guilt and the Murder of Innocents.

Absolutely. BUT: I worked in NBC Warfare at the end of the Cold War. Hiroshima and Nagasaki was like two drunks brawling in an alley compared to the battleplans then, and I would have done my job back then. Not my decision. If it wasn't an illegal order, if the confirmations went through...

    Your secret gaming shame

I play as a nice guy when given the choice. Able to do whatever I want without repercussions, I'll still be a nice guy. I'll rarely act like a jerk, even though many games seem to reward you more for being a total sociopath than for being a good guy, I'll take the penalty and act like a good person.

    Prove something to me.

Here is some more for you. When my grandfather was born, his father was crippled from fighting in the Civil War. A compound fracture of the leg, when he was HIT BY A GODDAMN CANNONBALL at the age of 10, when he was carrying gunpowder to Union troops, resulted in his leg being removed. My...

    Your secret gaming shame

I hate "modern warfare" FPS games and secretly judge people who like them. And have a tattoo of my old unit patch on my right shoulder.

The Things That Made You Emotional in Gaming... Surprisingly

When Morrigan betrayed me in DA:O I actually yelled at the screen "I should have killed you when I had the chance, whore!" In Mass Effect 2, I kept trying to romance the cute blond. And got there seconds too late to save her. I wonder if the Reapers know they have to die just because of...

    Prove something to me.

Life expectancies are going up. More people have food than in any time in history. Constant scientific advances are going to make that even better and better. You have entertainment right at your fingertips that you don't even need other people for. The amount of people who have access to...

Have you ever not beaten a game legitimately.

I usually play the first one through without cheats. Then I plug in whatever cheats I want and then just go to town. Let's take Fallout: New Vegas I finished it without cheats the first time. The second time I loaded up on cool mods, but still didn't use cheats. Now I'm using mods...

Characters that are a disgrace to gaming

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "Starkiller" or "Starcrusher" or some crap the original name that Lucas wanted to use for his protagonist? To me, what we're seeing Star Wars turn into is what Lucas wanted all along and was overridden by studio exec's and other producers/directors.

Characters that are a disgrace to gaming

Just real quick: I was lucky enough to correspond with RA Salvatore for awhile, and found out that, if anything, he hates Drizzt more than any of us ever could. The good folks at TSR kept having him pump out book after book, he got told how his characters would react by executives, and it just...

    Poll: The Manliness Conundrum

I hear some of the some guys talk about at college. The whole "Man Rules" and all of that, and whether or not they are manly by following these rules. But what are the rules? Are the rules the definition of not only masculinity, but of responsibility, maturity, and civility? Codifying the...
