Objectively, the best is probably Far Cry 3. But I'm having the most fun with Frozen Synapse.

Came in to say The Shield, figuring I'd be alone on it. Nice to see that others loved it as much as I did. That show had some weak bits in the middle, but it had not only my favorite Pilot Episode, but my favorite Final Episode as well.

Wii Sports was a good choice, but I'm surprised by no mention of Tetris (Gameboy). Without that game, I suspect handhelds would never have caught on like they did. And, by extension, mobile gaming would have been years behind where it is now.

If the game has voice acting, I'll play the first bit as each gender, and decide which voice I want to be listening to for the whole game. As such, I tend to about a 50/50 split. For games without voice acting I tend to stick with a male character.

There's no continue screen in my favorite game of all time, Symphony of the Night. If you die, the screen SLOWLY melts into a Game Over Screen that lasts far too long in and of itself. Then it takes you back to the start menu, where you have to re-select your save game and wait for it to load...

I don't like following the crowd, but sometimes the crowd is right. Persona 4, without question. To add a few others, I also highly recommend Spider-Man 2 (no, really, it's great), and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
